Markets & Me allows for some customisation to suit your requirements. For example, you can set how often the quotes auto-refresh, the refresh period, the color of quotes with a positive value, etc.

To customise your experience, from the app bar on the main page page, tap 'app settings'.

This section is where most customisations take place. You can set default page that loads when app launches, set your desired theme, base currency and the default portfolio. You can also set the default broker commission, the color for quotes with a positive value and auto-refresh settings.

There are two controls which allows you to enable or disable crash and anonymous usage reporting, for the sole purpose of improving the app, we ask that you enable these settings however you can disable them as desired.

Two of the unique features of Markets & Me are the ability to backup your positions in excel format to the cloud and import them to the same phone or another at a later time.

You can also sync your positions with your Google Finance Portfolio. When you enable Google Finance sync, note that any subsequent add/delete/close of stock positions and portfolios will be synced with Google Finance but changes on Google Finance will not automatically sync with the app. You will need to manually sync by tap+hold the provider name and select 'synchronise now'.

You will need to enabled the relevant service provider and grant access to the app through an oauth based authorisation process which ensures that your password is not stored in the app in any way.

Live Tiles are a great way of showing a glance of information of what's happening in the app. Markets & Me supports secondary tiles for stock, index and currency quotes when enabled. Individual stock quotes, as well as the dedicated indices and currencies tiles in the hub can be pinned to start.

The live tiles are updated in the background and because of operating system limitations on memory resource used by background tasks, the app enforces a hard limit on the number of secondary tiles that can be pinned to start. This is to ensure the best chance for tiles to be updated as when scheduled and avoid being disabled by the phone due to exceeding resource limits as a result of too many secondary tiles, thereby improving the user experience with live tiles.

Another unique feature in Markets & Me is the economic and company events calendar. You can subscribe to these events by which country or region, which are displayed through the events tile in the hub.
